There were some high-profile exit deals in the world of private equity this week, with Warburg Pincus recording stellar returns on a partial exit from ICICI Lombard, Nalanda Capital selling its stake in software services firm Mindtree, and True North doing likewise with hospital operator Aster DM Healthcare.

Dealmaking was also in focus, as Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management struck its first buyout in India’s renewable energy segment.

Separately, venture capital firms continued to pour money into Indian startups, with CureFit, 1mg and Unacademy raising large rounds.
