Hyderabad based digital marketing solutions provider, Ybrant Digital which reported a $55 million topline for FY07-08, is putting its money to better use. It has acquired Argentina based ad network, Dream Ad for an undisclosed amount. Dream Ad has been operating since six years and has over 300 clients.
Besides Argentina, this acquisition gives Ybrant presence in three other countries where Dream Ad operates in - Chile, Uruguay and Mexico. Dream Ad’s partners include, Microsoft Advertising, MTV, eBuddy, Fotolog, Sonico, Dorimedia, Keegy, Viva Street, Ciudad.com and Ybrant’s own Oridian. It is also the exclusive sales house for Microsoft Advertising in the South Cone Region. It was established in 2003 in Buenos Aires.
Ybrant will continue with the ‘Dream Ads’ brand name and will highlight it as ‘A Ybrant Digital Network’.
Post the acquisition, Ybrant will have offices in Europe, the Americas and Asia, so that it can capitalise on its ad inventory. Dream Ad’s founders Emanuel Goldschmidt and Andres Laniado will take up the roles of MD of Latin America under the Ybrant Networks Division. The team will be headed by Jacob Nizri, president, Ybrant Digital Networks.
Ybrant On An Acquisition Spree
This is Ybrant Digital’s fifth acquisition since its inception in 1999, when it was founded as USAGreetings.com. In 2007, it had acquired US based Ad network AdDynamix for $10 million and Israeli company Oridian for $13 million. A year before, Ybrant acquired Serbia-based VoloMP- an email marketing platform and US-based MediosOne.
Ybrant Digital’s clientelle include Cisco, SAP, Intel, Dell, HP, Porsche, Renault, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota, Sony, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, British Airways, Air France, EasyJet, Lufthansa, ING, HSBC, Adidas, GAP Jeans, Reebok, Pepsi, Sprite, Snickers, Red Bull, Nestle, Hotels.com, Ask.com, Expedia, Gillette, Phillips, MacAfee, Fujitsu, MTV, and M&M.
It has partnered with various online publishers like MSN, Yahoo!, Viacom, United Online, Fox News, Bebo.com, Media Traffic, Rubicon, Gorilla Nation, Mobile Vision, hi5 and Real Games.
