Vishal Sikka quits, alleges ’personal attacks’; board hits back at Murthy

On Friday, Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka resigned from his position alleging baseless and malicious personal attacks from co-founders, led by Nr Narayana Murthy. In a dramatic turn of events the board, too, formally blamed Murthy for Sikka’s departure.

In his defence, Murthy said that he was not seeking any personal favours by seeking corrective actions in the affairs of the company he had founded. After a couple of years of allegations and counter allegations, the conflict now seems to have panned out as an all-out war between the Infosys board and its founders.

Watch the video to see how this corporate crisis would impact the company’s operations and market valuation.
