Bengaluru-based Urban Ladder Home Décor Solutions Pvt Ltd, which operates furniture e-tailer brand Urban Ladder, continues to witness top-level exits.
Since October last year, at least seven top management executives have reportedly left the startup.
In March alone, four executives quit the firm, a report in Mint stated, citing two people aware of the development. Rushabh Sanghavi, vice president of category and sourcing, Nikhil Ramaprakash, vice president of sales and online marketing, Parag Shah, vice president of fitouts, urban interiors and alliances and chief marketing officer Sanjay Gupta all resigned last month, the report said.
An Urban Ladder spokesperson declined to comment on the exits.
Sanghavi and Ramaprakash have been with the company since 2012, while Shah joined in 2015 and Gupta was appointed CMO in February last year. He joined the furniture startup from fast moving consumer goods company Marico Ltd.
In February, three senior employees resigned from the firmâvice president of products and design Kartikeya Misra, director of brand management Vishwanath V, and director of sales Suman Punuru.
Last year, the startup had lost its chief technology officer to cab-hailing major Uber. Apurva Dalal was appointed to lead Uber Indiaâs engineering division in July last year.
In February, the Bangalore-based company had raised close to Rs 102 crore (around $15 million) from existing investors Kalaari Capital, SAIF Partners, Steadview Capital and Sequoia Capital.
In August last year, Urban Ladder raised venture debt worth $3 million (Rs 20 crore then) from Trifecta Capital.
In September last year, the firm tied up with e-commerce firm Amazon India to boost sales.
