Apart from Indian and global limited and general partners as well as prominent stakeholders of the private equity ecosystem in India, the VCCircle India Limited Partners Summit 2016 will also host important political dignitaries who will offer the much-needed policy and government perspective on the evolving trends in the Indian investment space.
KT Rama Rao, minister for IT and panchayati raj in the government of Telangana, is one such dignitary. Rao will deliver a keynote address at the summit, which will be held in Mumbai on March 9 and 10.
Telangana, India’s youngest state, has been proactive in creating a conducive environment to promote investments and entrepreneurship. And Rao is among those leading Telangana’s economic revival through his well-laid-out vision that caters to the IT sector’s multidimensional requirements and enables a vibrant atmosphere for industries and startups to grow. He holds an MBA in marketing and e-commerce from Baruch College-City, University of New York.
