Education networking portal LetzConnect Technologies Pvt. Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount from investors including SucSEED Venture Partners.
Payments solutions firm Obopay Mobile Technology India Pvt. Ltd and Japanese Investor Syndicate also participated in the pre-Series A funding round of LetzConnect, founded by Praveen Ganesh.
The company's artificial intelligence (AI) platform enables organisations to connect and train students, said Ajay Kalhan, an active investor with SucSEED Venture Partners, which also facilitates funding besides making bets on its own.
SucSEED Venture Partners was founded in 2016. It invests in segments such as fintech, edtech, real estate technology and human resources (HR) technology.
Just last month, it made an edtech bet by investing in Delhi-based XploraBox, which offers a subscription-based activity box for children.
“With the LetzConnect bet, SucSEED Venture Partners now has a full range of investments in the education sector starting from kindergarten to class 12 to college," said Vikrant Varshney, co-founder and managing partner, SucSEED Venture Partners. "This gives us a unique opportunity to help foster collaborations among startups like OckyPocky, XploraBox, SRJNA and LetzConnect to create a unique value proposition for the edtech sector," he added.
SucSEED Venture Partners' other investments include end-to-end digital rent management platform Paymatrix and publishing house Leadstart Publishing.
