Live2.ai, an artificial intelligence-powered social intelligence and commerce activation platform, has raised Rs 130 crore ($14 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures.

The round comprised primary and secondary components. Live2.ai did not disclose the split between the two, but said some early-stage investors and angel investors sold their stakes.

The company will use the primary capital to accelerate the development of its agentic intelligence layer, scale its go-to-market efforts for enterprise and global consumer brands, and strengthen its regional cloud infrastructure across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, it said in a statement. Part of the funds will also go towards expanding its engineering, data science and customer success teams across North America, Europe, Singapore and India.

Live2.ai, founded by J Venkat, Neha Suyal and Yash Arora, was previously known as Woovly before pivoting and rebranding in 2024. In its current avatar, the Bengaluru-based startup offers a social intelligence operating system that connects social trends across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X and review sites with consumer intelligence, campaign execution and commerce activation.

It helps brands monitor conversations, plan and publish social posts, track performance, manage audits and compliance for influencer and user-generated content, and turn rights-cleared content into shoppable experiences across websites, physical stores, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, social media and marketplaces.

The company works with more than 200 brands across the US, Europe and Southeast Asia, including Henkel’s Schwarzkopf, Salonory in the US, Titan Brands and Shiseido.

“Brands today are drowning in signals and starved of action. Every conversation, creator post and trend spike is a revenue decision waiting to be made, and most are made too late or not at all,” said J Venkat, chief executive officer of Live2.ai.

“This funding lets us close that gap, with detection, decision and activation running in one governed loop for enterprise customers across North America, Europe and APAC. IvyCap’s track record of building category leaders out of India and its founder-first approach make it exactly the partner we wanted at this stage.”

The startup has raised multiple tranches of early-stage rounds over the years, with investors including Sony Innovation Fund.

Its previous publicly reported funding round was in 2019, when it secured $2.5 million (about Rs 17.69 crore then) in a pre-Series A round led by Duane Park, an investment firm set up by India Equity Partners’ co-founder Anurag Bhargava. Existing investors SOSV, a US-based venture capital firm, and Xelpmoc Design & Tech Ltd also participated in the round.
