Mid-market investment bank Singhi Advisors has hired Sriram Narayanan as a partner to focus on emerging opportunities in the financial services sector.
Narayanan will add to the firm's capabilities in corporate finance, funding in special situations and mergers and acquisitions across other sectors, the firm said in a statement.
Prior to Singhi Advisors, Narayanan was head of client coverage and debt financing group at FirstRand Bank in India. In the past he has worked as a director for structured trade at BNP Paribas. Before that, he was a director at Standard Chartered Bank.
âNarayanan has worked across multi-disciplinary domains including investment banking, corporate banking and has strong relationships across various sectors such as financial services, healthcare, telecom, FMCG, automobiles and information technology,â the firm said.
Singhi Advisors has been beefing up its team in Mumbai. Earlier this year, the firm hired Ashok Panjwani to oversee its M&A practice for sectors including industrials, building materials and consumer sectors.
