US-based , a provider of IT consulting and solution engineering services, has acquired Bangalore-based mobility solutions firm for an undisclosed amount.
Wit Innovation focuses on enterprise mobility and offers solutions customised for verticals including education, hospitality, entertainment, media, travel and healthcare. The company claims that it bridges the gap between the web and the mobile by providing mobile app development, mobile website and mobile testing services to its clients. It has worked with clients across 16 countries and has built products for iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phones.
It was founded in 2006 by Sachin Garg (CEO) and Vibhor Gupta (COO). A B Tech from IIT Varanasi, Garg is also CEO of MinT Loyalty Services. He had earlier worked at Cisco, Intel Corp and Symbol Technologies. His partner Gupta holds a MBA degree from Indian School of Business (Hyderabad), and had earlier worked at Wipro, Cognizant and Infosys.
