Saurabh Srivastava Appointed as CA India Chairman

Saurabh Srivastava has been appointed as the chairman of the software management company CA India. The appointment comes in effect from April 6. In his new role, Srivastava will lead and mentor CA India’s sales and development operations. He will report directly to CA’s President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Christenson.

Saurabh Srivastava is one of the major IT entrepreneurs in India and is also an early stage venture investor. He was one of three founding general partners of Infinity Captial India in 2000. He began his career with IBM in India and later joined Tata-Unisys. He founded IIS Infotech in 1989, which later emerged as one of India’s top 20 companies. Presently Srivastava is the chairman of India Venture Capital Association (IVCA) and a board director of Infoedge. He is also the co founder of the Indian Angel Network.

He is an IIT Kanpur alumina and also holds a MS from Harvard University, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Wolverhampton, UK.

CA has offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi and an R&D facility in Hyderabad.

India currently contributes to over 30% of CAs world-wide development operations. India is also CA’s fastest growing geography.
