Delhi-based law firm S&R Associates has appointed two new partners from within its ranks.
Prachi Goel and Shivaji Bhattacharya will work out of the firm’s Mumbai and Delhi offices, respectively, focussing on several practice areas, the firm said in a statement.
Goel joined the firm in 2017. She covers mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, regulatory and general corporate matters, including matters related to the financial services sector at large.
A graduate of the University of Delhi and the London School of Economics and Political Science, Goel previously worked at A&M Law Offices.
Bhattacharya joined S&R in 2010. He also focusses on mergers and acquisitions along with joint ventures, foreign investment, and regulatory and general corporate matters.
He is an alumnus of the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research University, Hyderabad, and previously worked with state-run miner Coal India Ltd.
Founded in 2005, S&R Associates has offices in New Delhi and Mumbai. The firm's practices include mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, litigation and arbitration, banking, finance and restructuring, competition law, regulatory and general corporate.
