Online home décor company JBR Interio Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which provides interior design solutions through its flagship product Renderlogy, has raised Rs 6 crore from Astarc Ventures.
The funds will be used to boost the Hyderabad-based firm’s technology backbone and to sew tie-ups with vendors.
“Using this software, the company aims to capture the builders’ market. The idea is to tie up with builders, offer their customers automated interior designing and then execute it using our own execution capability,” Goswami, founder and chief executive officer of JBR Interio, said.
Launched in March 2014 by Shailesh Goswami and Brinda Goswami, Renderlogy uses technology, virtual reality and real-time market intelligence to provide interior design services to home owners.
In June, the company will launch a B2C portal that will allow users to design their home themselves.
Goswami is an IIT Delhi graduate and has an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. He was a senior director at Microsoft before starting JBR Interio. Brinda was running an interior designing firm called Infinite Ideas Interiors.
Renderlogy was launched with an initial investment of Rs 35 lakh by the two promoters. In February, the company raised Rs 10 crore from Brick Eagle Capital Group.
