ManageMySpa, which runs a cloud-based technology platform for spas, salons and medical spas, has raised $6 million in Series A funding from Accel Partners and others.
The company will use the money to accelerate its sales and marketing growth globally and to expand its mobile product offering, as per a press statement.
Shekhar Kirani from Accel Partners has joined the startupâs board of directors.

"We believe that ManageMySpa is at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory and has all the competencies to become the leader in its space. We are excited about the momentum the company has experienced so far and the growth of the wellness industry globally," he added.
ManageMySpa was founded in 2010 by Sudheer Koneru. It now has offices in seven countries and customers across 30 countries. It claims to be posting 'double fold' year-on-year growth since its inception.
