Full-service law firm Luthra & Luthra has entered Hyderabad by opening its fourth office in the country at Banjara Hills in the city, it said in a statement.
The Hyderabad office, located at the tony Banjara Hills area, will be overseen by senior partner H S Bobby Chandhoke, along with partner Abdullah Hussain.
The firm has also hired Tatva Legalâs competition and litigation lawyer Durga Bose Gandham to head its litigation and dispute resolution practice.
A graduate of NALSAR Hyderabad, Gandham initially worked at the Supreme Court as law clerk after which he worked at Legist Associates.
He holds an LL.M. in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from George Washington University. In 2009, he joined P&A Law Offices where he worked for four years before moving to Tatva Legal in Hyderabad. He was made Partner in 2014.
He has represented various Indian, US, Asia-Pacific and European companies in corporate law related disputes and arbitrations.
Altaf Fathima, an advocate-on-record at the Supreme Court, is also joining the firm as partner designate for its commercial litigation and corporate advisory practice.
The firm has also opened another office at Ashoka Estate building at Barakhamba Road in Delhi.
