Full-service law firm Link Legal India Law Services has promoted Durgesh Singh to partner in its Delhi office and P Ravi Charan to associate partner in its Hyderabad office. The firm now has 34 partners and around 160 lawyers across six cities.
An alumnus of the University of Delhi, Singh had joined the firm in 2015 as associate partner. He works in the firmâs project and infrastructure practice, where he has over a decadeâs experience, Link Legal said in a statement.
Prior to joining Link Legal, Singh had worked with Dua & Associates and Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.
Ravi Charan is an alumnus of Osmania University from the 2001 batch. He is part of the firmâs dispute resolution and real-estate practice.
Link Legal is among the top 15 law firms in the country by number of lawyers. In January, Link Legal and DH Law Associates had decided to merge and became Link Legal India Law Practice.
âAfter the merger, the firm has become very aggressive in expansion and this reflects how synergies between them are working,â said Arti Mashru, founder of consulting firm LexBlurb. âWhen many firms are contemplating consolidation, this aggressive stand of ramping up practice areas will pay the firm in the long term.â
Recently, the firm saw two homecomings as well. Nidhi Pathania, who had been working with K Law as principal associate for over two years, returned to the firm in early June. In May, lawyer Milind Jha returned to the firm to be part of its corporate and infrastructure team.
