Mumbai-based Market Pulse Technologies Pvt Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount of investment in its seed round from Lead Angels Network.

The company will use the funds to build its team and expand its product market coverage, the company said in a statement.

Market Pulse provides traders with real-time market data and insights. The company provides premium information to traders, investors, businessmen and market enthusiasts. In the near future, the company plans to connect financial markets to the masses and will enable them to invest decisively.

“Our product is built for traders in the commodity market. This funding will help us to achieve our aim of bridging the gap between the financial markets and the masses, which in turn will empower them to invest decisively,” said Amit Dhakad, co-founder and director of Market Pulse.

Market Pulse was founded in 2015 by Dhakad, Hiral Jain, and Ejaz Hoda. Dhakad was previously with technology consultancy ThoughtWorks, while Jain worked at Financial Technologies. Hoda, alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, is the chief executive of the company.

The investment was facilitated by Chatur Ideas, a platform that connects entrepreneurs with multiple investors and partner investment networks to raise funds.

Startups such as event management firm Hubilo, virtual assistant Genietalk, IoT startup Intuit things, crowdfunding platform Catapooolt, augmented reality firm Gamooz, and marketing automation firm MaaxMarket, and others have raised funds through the platform.

In September last year, Chatur Ideas had acquired Nurture Talent Academy, which provides training courses in digital marketing, finance and other areas to entrepreneurs.

Another online deal-making platform is LetsVenture, which in October 2015 raised an undisclosed amount in a Series A funding round led by Accel Partners, People Group’s Anupam Mittal and 16 other investors. Tracxn Syndicate is another platform that helps startups raise funding from a network of investors.
