Mumbai-based Rajani Associates is merging with the Delhi- and Bangalore-based Singhania & Partners to create a pan-India network of nearly 100 lawyers. The new firm, Rajani, Singhania & Partners, will have 20 partners with a national presence in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Founded in 1999, Singhania & Partners has a strong dispute resolution, infrastructure, project finance, intellectual property and FDI practice.
Rajani Associates, which was also founded in 1999, has a robust capital markets, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, banking & finance and litigation & arbitration practice.
The combined entity, Rajani, Singhania & Partners aims at being a full service law firm, offering services across the country. “Currently we are integrating,’’ said Reena Grover, Partner at Rajani Associates & Solicitors.
The company said that the merger is part of its growth strategy. “Through our combined expertise and extended reach, we aim to increase our foot print in new jurisdictions and practice areas; and unlock business opportunities propelling business growth,’’ said the law firms.
Rajani Associates and Singhania & Partners were established by Prem Rajani and Ravi Singhania, respectively.
