Mumbai-based , the company behind jobs search & resume building app under the same brand, has acquired SaaS startup Viraltrics Inc for an undisclosed sum, as per a company statement.
As per the deal, Bhavna Muraleedharan, founder of Viraltrics has joined Super Jobs as co-founder.
“Super Jobs was one of our customers. During a discussion we happened to share a common vision of how jobs should connect people to companies. Our common interest to disrupt the jobs space led to the acquisition,” Bhavna said.
Super Jobs was founded in September 2013 by Faisal Menon, a computer science engineer who has previously worked at L&T as a software developer.
It has developed a resume builder tool on smartphone that allows users to publish their resume online from their smartphone using its templates.
The app also helps people look out for jobs on smartphones. It allows companies & users to create profile when they login into the app. Employers can swipe right on a candidate if they fit the bill and candidates can swipe right on employers if they like the company. If both have swiped right for each other, the app connects them.
It claims to have over half a million app downloads on Android.
Viraltrics was founded last year by Bhavna Muraleedharan and Satyanarayan Iyengar. It is a mobile SaaS startup for deep linked referrals and helps mobile apps acquire and engage users via ready to use growth hacking solutions.
