Mumbai-based , the company behind jobs search and resume building app under the same brand, has acqui-hired mobile commerce enabling firm Crunch Commerce Inc., as per a company statement.
As part of the deal, Dayson Pais, founder of Crunch, along with his entire team, has joined Super Jobs.
US- and Mumbai-based Crunch was founded last year. It optimises e-commerce for mobile with an app like experience in the browser and a SaaS delivery model.
Super Jobs was founded in September 2013 by Faisal Memon, a computer science engineer who has previously worked at L&T as a software developer.
It has developed a resume builder tool that allows users to publish their resumes online from their smartphones using its templates.
The app also helps people look out for jobs on smartphones. It allows companies and users to create profiles when they login into the app. Employers can swipe right on a candidate if he/she fits the bill and candidates can swipe right on an employer if they like the company. Once both swipe for each other, the app connects them.
It claims to have over half a million app downloads on Android.
Earlier this month, the company had acquired SaaS startup Viraltrics Inc for an undisclosed sum.
