Quick Heal Technologies Pvt Ltd, leading IT security software solutions provider, has appointed Rajesh Ghonasgi as chief financial officer of the company. Ghonasgi has over two decades of experience in the financial domain and at Quick Heal Technologies he will oversee financial operations, including corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions.
Prior to joining Quick Heal, Ghonasgi was CFO of Mumbai-based ad network and audience measurement services provider Komli Media India Pvt Ltd.
He has also worked with the companies like Persistent Systems, Hexaware Technologies, Wipro and SB Billimoria & Co. At Persistent, he had led its IPO as CFO.
Quick Heal is also poised for a public float; as per reports, it may file for its IPO next year.
"Ghonasgi brings a unique blend of strategic, finance and operating skills and an in-depth knowledge of the business. We look forward to him playing a strong leadership role in financial management and strategic transactions," said Kailash Katkar, chief executive officer, Quick Heal Technologies.
Ghonasgi is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an associate member the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Pune-headquartered Quick Heal Technologies is into development of antivirus software and employs more than 800 people across 23 branches. Last year, the company opened offices in the US, Japan and Kenya.
