On-demand home services platform Zimmber, operated by Mumbai-based Rejuvenate Solutions Pvt Ltd, has acquired Gurgaon-based FindYahan India Pvt Ltd, which runs a marketplace under the same brand name for services and skills, for an undisclosed amount.
The development was first reported in The Economic Times.
Queries sent by Techcircle.in to the two companies on the details of the deal did not elicit any response till the time of filing this report.
Founded in October 2014 by Amit Kumar (co-founder and COO), Gaurav Shrivastava (co-founder and CTO), and Anubhab Goel (co-founder and CEO), Zimmber is a marketplace that offers services such as laundry, home repairs, plumbing, electrical services, driver on demand, pest control and more.
The startup currently operates in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Gurgaon, Thane, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Navi Mumbai and Noida.
In July 2015, the startup secured $400,000 (Rs 2.5 crore) in funding from mobile ad network InMobiâs Naveen Tewari, Mohit Saxena and Amit Gupta, with participation from its vice-president of finance Manish Dugar and chief product officer Piyush Shah. It also acqui-hired Dhulai, a Mumbai-based start-up that provides laundry services for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2013 by Rachit Mathur and Snehil Khanor, FindYahan is a location-based discovery platform for lifestyle services which connects skilled individuals and home businesses to their target customers. In April 2015, the startup raised its second round of funding from The Phoenix Fund and in February 2015, it secured angel funding from Karan Bajwa, managing director of Microsoft India and others.
