Kolkata-based Affordable Health Services Pvt. Ltd, which runs online healthcare services aggregator EasyBuyHealth, has secured $350,000 (Rs 2.2 crore) in a seed round from a group of angel investors from the business and medical communities.

The capital will be used to expand its team to 100 members, from the existing 50, over the next six months, besides strengthening its technology infrastructure, the company said in a press statement.

Founded by Gagan Kapur and Chris George in 2016, EasyBuyHealth helps customers discover an array of healthcare services providers, including hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres, among others, on its platform.

It claims to have partnered with over 662 brands across 11,000 locations in the country.

In recent times, several other healthcare services aggregators have also raised funding, including 3Hcare.in, which had raised $100,000 from an undisclosed entrepreneur-investor.
