Healthcare services portal 3Hcare.in, run by 3H Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, has raised $100,000 (Rs 64 lakh) from an undisclosed entrepreneur-investor, it said in a statement.

The startup will use the funds for expansion of its diagnostics, surgery and medical tourism services.

It will also invest in its offerings for the corporate sector, such as annual diagnostic tests for employees. 3Hcare.in is looking to collaborate with over 500 hospitals across the country.

“There is a huge potential in the healthcare field, especially with the convergence of highly skilled lab technicians to provide best-in-class tests (both pathology and radiology),” said Ruchi Gupta, who founded the company 11 months ago.

3Hcare.in aggregates healthcare services, such as diagnostic and imaging tests. Its 'plan my surgery' vertical helps patients compare the cost of surgery at various hospitals.

“Many tests, such as bio-molecular tests and genetic testing are available at limited labs in India, which will be the prime focus in the initial phase of our diagnostics expansion. In the final phase, the entire focus will be on boosting international medical tourism in India,” added Gupta.

In the same field, Oxa Medical, which provides curated medical tourism packages, secured an undisclosed amount in seed funding from UAE-based Idein Ventures Pvt Ltd in March.

In January, PlanMyMedicalTrip, an online platform that offers international patients access to medical care in India and Turkey, had received Rs 1.25 crore ($187,000) in angel funding.

Mumbai-based TransEarth Healthcare Services, which operates under the TransEarth Medical brand, had raised $2 million to expand its operations overseas.
