Four Indian partners of Stanton Chase are bringing back the franchise of the US-based executive search firm.
The executivesâAmit Agarwal, Ashwini Prakash, Mala Chawla and Sripad KNâwill share ownership and leadership responsibilities, the company said in a statement.
The move comes after Stanton Chase last month merged its operations with family-run recruitment services providers Accord Group. The combined entity, to be called Accord, will be chaired by Bish Agrawal, who was chairman of Stanton Chase India.
Earlier on Tuesday, The Economic Times reported that Stanton Chase India was making a comeback.
Mickey Matthews, international chairman of Stanton Chase, said the firm has six offices in India and covers nine industry specializations.
Agarwal said the firm has a 12-member team and is looking to make senior hires and increase the team size to 20.
Stanton Chase India, which was founded in 1999, provides executive search services. It has seen some changes over the years. The venture was led for some time by R Suresh, who sold his franchise along with two other companies â NuGrid Consulting and Orane Consutants â to the search arm of Japanese company Recruit HoldingâRGF Executiveâfor about Rs 150 crore in July 2013. Later, the Agrawals took over the franchise operations for Stanton Chase India with founder Bish Agrawal as its chairman.
Bish Agrawal also started New Delhi-based recruitment services firm ABC Consultants in 1969. The company is now led by his son Shiv Agrawal.
