The India arm of professional services firm EY has acquired customer relationship management (CRM) solutions provider C Centric Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

EY in India said in a statement on Thursday the acquisition strengthens its commitment to support businesses by providing a customer-insights driven strategy that would help leverage technologies such as artificial intelligence, analytics and the cloud.

EY did not disclose the amount it paid to acquire the company.

Rohan Sachdev, advisory services partner and leader at EY in India, said the firm had previously collaborated with C Centric, which has offices in Thane and Bengaluru.

“Their addition to EY will strengthen our ability to help businesses capitalize on the digital wave and provide an end-to-end digital experience to customers,” Sachdev said.

Separately, Shubho Bhattacharrya, chief executive officer, C Centric, said the company has helped its clients to respond to disruptive technologies by providing CRM solutions.

C Centric was founded by Shubho Bhattacharrya, Gerald Prabhu, Vinod Ganesh Ram and Vineet Kalucha in 2007. The company says it provides services such as CRM consulting and application maintenance. It also provides customer-focused solutions linked to finance investments and operations.

The company currently has a presence in three cities and has worked with clients such as SBI, Vijaya Bank, Yes Bank, Aditya Birla Finance, Mahindra Electric and Axis Mutual Fund, among others, according to its website.

The acquisition comes over a month after EY’s peer KPMG’s Indian arm acquihired artificial intelligence decision services company Recommender Labs Pvt. Ltd.
