Virtual Logic Systems Pvt Ltd (VLS), a Bangalore-based company that develops products using virtual reality, simulation and 3D stereoscopic technologies, has raised between Rs 4 crore and Rs 6 crore in its pre-Series A round of funding, sources privy to the development told VCCircle.

Swarnim Multiventures, a family office that provides early-stage financing, led this round of funding along with two high net-worth individuals (HNIs) whose names could not be immediately ascertained.

VLS, which had previously raised seed funding from a few HNIs, plans to use the money for expanding its sales team and broaden the product portfolio.

Founded in 2006 by Surya Prakash and Sudarshan Ramachandraiah, VLS has developed interactive 3D visualisation tools based on artificial intelligence and virtual reality.

Prakash and Ramachandraiah, mechanical engineers from Bangalore's BMS College of Engineering, were working with Bangalore Endoscopic Surgery Training and Research Centre and Infosys, respectively, before founding this venture.

VLS claims to provide a first-of-its-kind, 3D content-driven interactive digital marketing platform to showcase products and services. It will soon launch a home buying and home interior design customisation portal.

Separate email queries to VLS and Swarnim did not immediately elicit a response.

Elbrus Capital advised VLS on the deal.
