Digital seller management startup Focus Digit has raised an undisclosed amount from angel fund Turning Ideas, a co-founder of the company told VCCircle.
The startup, run by Delhi-based Digit Services Pvt Ltd, will use the funds to develop products, strengthen technology and expand to 20 cities in India.
âWe are reaching out to sellers with a suite of solutions in tandem with support from leading e-commerce players to optimise online sales potential,â said co-founder Aditya Aggarwal said. He didnât disclose the amount raised.
However, Turning Ideas normally invests between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 50 lakh in a startup.
Aggarwal, an engineering graduate from a Chicago university, said Focus Digit leverages technology so that sellers can manage their portfolio through a single dashboard and not have to operate on each website individually.
The startup was launched in September 2015 by Aggarwal, Divya Gupta, Abhinav Sarma, Amol Kalra and Sushant Gurnani. It provides end-to-end service consisting of premium shoots and catalog management, inventory management, e-commerce optimization and analytics on understanding market trends across all leading e-tailers such as Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon.
Ashish Mittal, founder and chief mentor at Turning Ideas, said Focus Digitâs founding team has experience in the e-commerce industry and understands sellersâ psychology.
Turning Ideas had earlier invested in AskMyGift, a mobile app that allows users to create a personalised wish list for gifts.
