Arjun Ghose had been a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
Ghose, who specialises in structured finance, debt restructuring, insolvency and private equity, will deal with corporate practice.
Ghose studied at National Law School of India University in Bengaluru.
With Ghose’s appointment, Trilegal’s partnership strength now stands at 44.
“Ghose’s varied focus will bring greater depth to our corporate capabilities in Bengaluru and build our strength more specifically in the areas in which he has deep experience (distress, structured finance, restructuring/insolvency and private equity),” said Rahul Matthan, partner at Trilegal.
Founded in 2000, Trilegal has offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurugram and Bengaluru.
Its practice areas includes corporate, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, telecom, media and technology, energy and infrastructure, disputes, competition, capital markets, employment, real estate and taxation.
Trilegal has been increasing its partnership strength.
In March 2018, Trilegal promoted two of its counsel, Soumya Hariharan and Arnav Dayal, to equity partners. Hariharan became a partner for competition law practice while Dayal became a partner for corporate practice.
