Technology services firm Incedo Inc. has appointed Nitin Seth, former chief operating officer at Flipkart, as its chief executive officer, a company statement said.
Incedoâs co-founder and former CEO Tejinderpal Miglani will serve as president and will work closely with Seth as part of the new leadership team. Seth will work on building Incedoâs clients, deepen innovation in emerging technologies, and lead the firm into its next phase of growth, the statement said.
âIâm looking forward to creating the companyâs long-term strategy, ensuring itâs positioned as a world-class, distinctive technology firm,â Seth said.
Incedo is a technology solutions provider specialising in data analytics, information management, and business intelligence. It offers industry expertise to companies in financial services, life sciences, and communication engineering.
Headquartered in the Bay Area, San Francisco, Incedo has offices across North America and India.
The company claims that it works with four of the top ten life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, two of the top telecommunications companies in the world, and some of the largest financial services firms in India.
Seth joined the e-commerce company as chief people officer in February last year and then became COO in January this year after the top management underwent a major reshuffle when Kalyan Krishnamurthy, a former Tiger Global executive, was appointed CEO. Besides serving as COO, Seth was also in charge of the e-commerce majorâs in-house logistics firm eKart, supply chain, and customer experience segments. He quit the firm in May this year, citing âpersonal reasons.â In July, media reports claimed that Seth sent Flipkart a legal notice over the manner in which he was dismissed from the company.
Prior to his stint at Flipkart, Seth was the managing director and country head of investment firm Fidelity International in India. Before Fidelity, he was a director with McKinsey & Co for eight years.
