Nasdaq-listed Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp has agreed to acquire London-based Contino, a privately held technology consulting firm, to strengthen its cloud offerings.
Contino helps companies accelerate their digital transformation by using enterprise DevOps methodologies, a cloud-native development approach, and advanced data platforms, Cognizant said in a statement.
“The DevOps approach to cloud migration, core modernization and cloud security is reshaping how enterprises in all industries are building their infrastructures,” said Brian Humphries, CEO at Cognizant. “This new set of holistic cloud capabilities from Contino will enable us to offer and more readily deploy transformative cloud-based solutions.”
Cognizant didn’t disclose financial details of the deal, which it expects to close in the fourth quarter of 2019.
