CBRE Group, the world’s-largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, has elevated Daniel Queenan as Chief Executive Officer for the Asia Pacific region with immediate effect, according to press release. The appointment was announced by Robert Blain, CBRE’s Executive Chairman, Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Queenan will assume responsibility for the operational management of the Asia Pacific region and will focus on the strategic development of the business, with particular emphasis on client care and development, cross-border activity and capital markets.
Blain will continue serving as Executive Chairman with overall responsibility for the Asia Pacific region.
“Danny has been a very strong addition to our regional leadership team...I look forward to continuing to partner with him to achieve increased success for CBRE and our clients across Asia Pacific. I am very passionate about the opportunities ahead of us and all that we can accomplish together over the next several years,” Blain said.
Prior to this role, Queenan was serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Asia Pacific region since August 2013 and worked closely with Blain and CBRE’s country, regional business line and shared services leaders to drive growth, premier client service and excellence in all aspects of the Asia- Pacific business.
Before that, he also served as CEO of Trammell Crow Company, CBRE’s real estate development subsidiary and was President and Chief Executive Officer of the America’s largest real estate development company Opus North Corporation.
Recently, the group had elevated Manish Kashyap as regional MD and head of brokerage services for the Asia Pacific region.
