Simplilearn Solutions Pvt. Ltd, which provides a training destination for professional certification courses, on Friday appointed Mohit Yadav and Sujoy Ghosh as vice presidents of the company’s growth as well as product teams respectively.
The edtech firm said that these two new appointments will drive its growth in key industry domains. It also claims to have increased its workforce from 1,400 to around 2,200 in the past year.
Yadav, who joined Simplilearn as the vice president of its growth team, has over 12 years of experience in sales and category management across verticals including FMCG, home and kitchen, toys, sports and luggage.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Yadav was with Udaan and ITC as the Category Development Manager.
In his previous roles, he was responsible for developing scalable competitive strategies, trade marketing initiatives, and sales and distribution objectives.
Ghosh joined Simplilearn as its vice president for product team. He comes with experience of over 7 years in product management. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, he was the director of product management at Glance.
He has also worked at Moonfrog, Quotient Technology and Furlenco as a Product Manager.

In November last year, Simplilearn completed its first-ever employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) buyback worth Rs 48.74 crore, Krishna Kumar, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the edtech firm told VCCircle in an interview.
