In the world of Information Technology, organizations are increasingly turning to Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) to improve their operational efficiency and service delivery. The same is being used in banking processes as it replaces several IT operations and boosts financial services.

Amit Kumar Sengupta, a seasoned professional in the industry, has worked on several projects that demonstrate the essence of AIOps. He assisted the implementation of end-to-end AIOps solutions in various industries and has been recognised for his contributions in the field. Complete incident response AIOps platforms were deployed under her guidance, improving especially on reliability of the systems. An AIOps implementation strategy was prepared for a major property and casualty insurance client as he contributed to that. This initiative included facilitating 32 workshops with the client's Enterprise Architecture and Application Architecture teams, resulting in a cohesive design and approval from the C-suite for an enterprise-wide rollout.

The implementation of these initiatives made it possible to decrease the alert noise by 22% while within the same category improving operational efficiency by 22% using automated processes and quicker root cause analysis (RCA). These data-driven results not only prove the usefulness of AIOps but also prove how much it has cut down costs in executing routine activities and the effective use of resources. The AIOps framework, by predicting and fixing problems before they become problems, helps reduce system downtime and enhances system availability. Automation of such repetitive tasks as log analysis and incident resolution has freed IT personnel to engage in other more thoughtful endeavours and consequently improved the overall efficiency of operations.

Sengupta highlights that the sheer amount and variety of data present a huge obstacle because AIOps solutions depend on extensive data drawn from multiple sources. Managing the quality and uniformity of data will pose a challenge within the organization. Moreover, AIOps solutions can also be complicated, challenging, and long in the process of their integration with the needed IT environment. In addition, the existing cultural barriers are also a factor, as the older workforce accustomed to working without AI might be reluctant to switch to a new model of operations driven by AI. Abandoning these limits does not come free; it necessitates a deliberate plan that may include training and articulation of the advantages in question.

Sengupta introduces the pros and cons of AIOps in his publications, “Event Based IT Systems” published in the International Journal of All Research Education and Scientific Methods and “AIOps: The Future of ITOps” published in the European Journal of Advances in Engineering and Technology. His insights emphasize the necessity for organizations to invest in data quality, centralized repositories, and automated incident response to unlock the full potential of AIOps.

As industry experts like Amit Kumar Sengupta agree, the AIOps ecosystem is being influenced by several trends. The augmentation of artificial intelligence and machine learning is allowing for the execution of more complex algorithms for both anomaly detection and

forecasting. The unification of AIOps and DevOps is making the continuous integration and deployment pipelines more efficient in their software delivery. The evolution of edge computing is facilitating data analysis and rapid response time.

For organizations contemplating large-scale AIOps implementation, starting small with pilot projects is important. Focusing on high-impact areas and enabling continuous improvement through regular reviews and updates will ensure the initiative's success. “Identify and prioritize areas where AIOps can deliver the most significant impact, such as critical applications or infrastructure components”, the professional added.

Lastly, AIOps has clearly brought positive changes in all aspects of operational efficiency and cost-cutting and service reliability can achieve, hence is a phenomenon that commands the attention of many technology-minded practitioners.
